Hello world!

I am sorry for not posting anything for a long time. As some of you know, I have Fibromyalgia (FM). And that has kept me in bed for the most of the last 10 months. TO try and explain FM to someone that does not have it, is difficult. Because you need to feel it yourself to really understand.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder.

Symptoms are unpredictable and vary for everyone, but they generally include severe pain, fatigue, abnormal pain processing, sleep disorders, problems with cognitive functioning, migraines, anxiety and depression. While millions of people live with fibromyalgia, many misconceptions still surround the disorder.

Hello!!

Hi all.. And sorry for the few updates . Life has just been “life” lately and taken a lot of my time.  I have done a little coloring and card making but not much. I have however made my first card video over on youtube… 🙂 woohoo.. And I am hoping to get to keep doing this in the future also. I just need to find the editing program i like.. Been using Movie Maker for the last videos.. but do not like it.

So, what this post is supposed to be about is the video I made. I made it for this card.. :

2015-03-07 15.50.10

The Image is from OpalManor, and is called Meow.
Opalmanor is offering free images, and there are lots of niiice ones there.. so I hope you’ll pop over to them and take a look.

The papers used are:

Doodlebug – Sugar Shoppe
and
Simple Stories – Snap! life pad.

I also used some orange bazzill that I had in my stash.. Not sure about its name.

I diecut the image using the CreaNestLies XXL stitched dies. I am not to happy with the dies.. they didn’t give much stitching to be shown. So I am guessing I need to try out another dies too.

Hope you like my video and sorry for not being the most professional looking vid. I am hoping to get better soooon… 🙂

If you are wondering about anything, just ask me, and I’ll answer as best I can. 🙂

Have a Great Week.

Hugs from

And here is my take on this challenge…

2015-01-13 21.53.37-2

My testimonial page over at Kit and Clowder… :)

SOOO, I finished my hair and skin class last night.. And thought I would share my thoughts on it with you.. 🙂

….

Before I bought the class, I was thinking a loong time about it, is it worth it? Can I spend that money on one class? And I watched a lot of youtube and googled, but it was so time consuming and I never really felt that I learned the basics..

So one day, I just DID IT..

I bought the Hair and skin class, and was blown away. Here, right in front of me, I had EVERYTHING i needed. No more looking for the right explanations. You start with the basic, shading and shadows.. and from there, all I can say is WOW. The depth of the tutorials and the videos to show you as you learn to find your way trough the challenges.. Yes, there are challenges, NO you don’t magically learn to color after ONE video. But Alyce helps you all the way, guiding you when you feel stuck or that this isn’t working. She has a special capability to get you to see the positive in your work. and helps you to work with the challenges.

I was really struggling with negative thoughts about my coloring, until I understood that it wasn’t learning to color like Alyce I was aiming for. No, I was learning to color like ME. I was finding MY style and MY way to feel happy and satisfied with what I was doing. And THAT is what you learn in class. I have to say, I have bought my next class and my third one.. 😉 And even after completing ONE class, you still learn with the other ones. SO …. all I can say.. is I have NO REGRETS about buying this. I say to you.. GO FOR IT. Give yourself the chance to learn to be happy with your coloring. I am truly in a happy place when it comes to my coloring now. And here are my before and after photos. 🙂

From flat, to WOW.. (at least in my eyes, and that is all that matters for me;) )

AFTER:

2015 A new year and lots of time to create

I have started to color again, after taking a short break during the holidays. And for the moment I am finishing up my Skin & hair class over at Kit & Clowder. I just LOVE those classes. And Alyce is a great teacher..  Here are my 2015 coloring start. 😉
